Group of 8 Pledges Billions in Aid to Egypt and Tunisia


French G8 summit end in DEAUVILLE. Many hopefull discussions, but what's really for actions in fact...

After discussions, it seem that the G8 leaders decided to help arab world to grow in the democraty sprit. To proove the way they choice, the greatest anounce may be the Billions in Aid to Egypt and Tunisia.


As writes LIZ ALDERMAN in "The New York Times",
"Leaders of the Group of 8 wealthiest industrialized nations pledged on Friday to send billions of dollars in new aid to Egypt and Tunisia, hoping to reduce the threat that looming economic stagnation could undermine the transition to democracy in the region.

At a series of working sessions that lasted until the early morning hours Friday, representatives of the Group of 8 countries expressed concern that the democracy movement in the Arab world could be “hijacked” by Islamic radicals if the West did not help stabilize the economies of the two countries that touched off the Arab Spring, said two European diplomats who were present during the discussions.
